Fovoc has a shelter for abused women and children and they accommodate woman aged 18 till 59 with their children.
Victims can be sheltered for a maximum of 6months depending on the merit of the case.
Gender based violence occurs due to financial dependency which is why at FOVOC admitted clients are capacitated with sustainable skills such as pedicure and manicure training, sewing, gardening, crocheting and jam making to be able to make a living upon discharge.
